Is there such a thing as a propane fireplace for RV/horse trailers?  The short wall of the empty shell is 7+ feet, so I don't need a big heater for this space.  It would be nice to have heat combined with the visual effect of the fireplace.

This is similar style that was in my last trailer. Put out alot of heat. I mainly ran just the pilot to keep it warm.

There are electric models also....  http://flametex.net/Dimplex%20inserts.htm

Seems that alot of the LQ conversion folks use electric. You'll need AC power from a shore line or a generator to operate the electric models.

The two links lead to the same place, unfortunately it was a site I had already checked out.  The fireplace there looks great, but there's no information on what brand it is, or where to find one.  I'm really coming up empty on sourcing an actual retailer of propane fireplaces for RVs/trailers.  At least if I could find one, I could compare prices, BTU's, installs etc and make a decision.

I keep ending up at sites with gel-fuel fireplaces - anyone experienced with these?  Hang on the wall like a picture AND produce heat.  Problem is, how much heat, how long does the fuel last, and would you feel safe?
