I'm looking for a 6 horse gooseneck.  I've found 2 good options, both are 2001.  The Exiss is only priced at $14,000 but has some dings and damage, well used.  The Featherlite is priced at $20,000 but is really good shape.  Has mangers and ramp.  Both have hay racks which is a big plus to me.  I haven't like the Exiss I've dealt with, seems like they are not as well made.  Is the Featherlite enough better made to justify the big difference in price??

How wide is the Featherlite? Mangers are an expensive option. But if it is only 7'W, larger horses may be cramped with mangers. But if it is 8'W, that coupled with the mangers is your price difference right there. And a large difference in storage capacity.

Mangers on a new trailer are priced at about $2,000 per door. A ramp as an option is probably around $1,000 to $1,500. Yes that could be your price difference. No matter what, if you are not happy with Exiss now, don't buy it because you will never be happy with it. Make sure when you buy a trailer that it is what you want and don't just settle for something.
