I have a three horse slant, steel frame, alum. skin...with a front dressing room/tack space. I want to add a rear tack area. Does anyone know if this is possible and who could help me? I'm concerned about welding that may have to be done and if it would damage the skin.

We have a friend that at one time had a freestanding rear tack. You could put it in or take it out. I think you bolted an attachment on the frame studs on the wall and it pinned to them. Not sure. Dont remember the brand trailer. WW maybe, or some other cheaper brand. Anyhow it was basically a free standing rear tack you set in the rear corner. You could probably do an online search and find it. Would probably work in any trailer that didnt have a rear tack.

Thanks Patti,
I appreciate the information. I saw the saddle boss brand and they are removable. I also found a company in Atlanta, JBJ Conversions and they can put in the removable wall and place my spare tire in the back as well, with the retractable partition. Thanks again for the information.
