Need to replace my power converter.  What is the best one? Where is the best place to buy?  30 amp seems like plenty.

It's a good idea to go oversize. Heat is the enemy here and the bigger units don't work as hard so they live a lot longer.

Here is the brand I purchased last year, made in Michigan, not China. It has a built in charge wizard with four modes for longer battery service life. http://www.progressivedyn.com/power_converters.html I found it on e-bay

I second Progressive and the built in Charge wizzard. One of the big extra's you get with the charge wizzard is every 21 hours of storage mode it will jump up for 15 minutes to Desulfation Mode. Also when charging with your generator you can select boast mode to get that extra short term charge. At the bottom of this link is a great chart on battery recharge hours. http://www.progressivedyn.com/prod_details/charge_wizard.html
