I like equine.com but is anyone else having troubles with pics loading? Seems like it takes forever, then another significant wait after you hit the back button and before you can scroll down again. Worse on my work computer than at home, but still annoying.

I have never bought off of any of these sites but I check out agdirect.com, equine.com, dreamhorse.com and I think there is one called equinenow.com...Just a few that I know of...Do know someone who bought a national spotted saddle horse off of equinenow.com and got a great horse for around $800...

In years past I tried Equine.com and Dreamhorse and never got the first response ever in over a year.Sold same animals in a month in a few FREE publications.I am seeing a lot of ads in that last one mentioned,Equinenow? Thats why I thought I'd ask.AG direct I used in the past with success but I looked at their site/ads and it appeared very sparce.

I am not in the market but I love looking at horses for sale. Some of the sites I frequent are horsetopia.com, horseville.com, dreamhorse.com,
equine.com, equinenow.com, freehorseads.com, equinehits.com 2buyhorses.com
horseclicks.com I haven't sold any horses on any of the sites but I do enjoy looking at the horses for sale in my area on each site.

I AM in the market and browse almost all those sites daily. What I find amazing is how many of them I have inquired on and get no responses from. Or I get a response with only a terse answer, no photos and no real info about the horse.
Some of the videos I have gotten are unwatchable. How do people think they can sell a horse this way? Especially long distance? I have been looking for my 'forever' gaited horse for months, and you wouldn't believe some of the stuff I get...

Hi Linda,
I know what you are going through. I think you sent me a couple of leads that didn't work out for you. I actually found mine by posting a want ad on a trail riding site. It is amazing how people treat potential customers. Anyway, good luck with your search.

Have had ads on TWHSales Central for several months. Not one inquiry from that site.Same thing a year or so back.Nice site but no action off it for me.In fact I talked to a number of SOLD TWH owners on that site and there sold horses didn't sell on it. I've got two TWH Tobiano mares on that site right now.

horsetopia.com has been a good one for me. I've sold a few horses through there. I usually list on a couple of different sites at once (they're all listed above), but it seems the most responses have come from horsetopia.
A good site for western Canada and northwest US area listings (98% Canadian), is northernhorse.com. It's a really good site. Obviously you can list any type of horse there, and people do, but I really think the target market of this site is people looking for a good cow/ranch horse, followed by barrel horse, trail horse, and all round.
