We might resort to blocking up the Kiefer Genesis in order to get enough clearance over the truck bed. I'm considering adding a ramp. Has anyone else done this? We're you happy with the results? What's the ballpark price tag on this item?

not sure about kiefer but elite and platinums are about $750-$1150 depending on size. By size I mean length not width. These prices would be with full ramp. Kiefer has to be less. Call them.

Yes, a ramp added to your Genesis will work fine, after blocking the axles. You might want to have 12" added to the height of the ramp, so it isn't quite so steep with the additional height of the trailer. Prices will vary between different dealers.

I paid about $1000 for my Featherlite ramp about a year or so ago. Had the Neighbor put it on for me. Had to do some minor welding, but not much. I really like my ramp. Won't have another trailer without one.

My trailer is narrower, 7' give or take an inch. I've never had a trailer with a ramp before. I didn't realize I'd have options for length. Steep would not be good.
