The good 'ol Tri-Mark latch. That price is about right. Remember, if you find one in a wrecked door, that there was a recall about 6-8 years ago because they broke & wouldn't open from the outside. So a new one may be a better bet.

Do be aware that while the fronts all look the same, the part where the latch is can vary from one to another. Tri-Mark has several numbers. And on the one pictures, you'll need to by a new deadbolt cylinder, or transfer your current one.

I sell and install a Bauer replacement lock that works better for 59.99. Tri mark always had problems with that latch and has stopped manufacturing them.

Hi,
I ran into the same issue of unable to open door from outside. I have been trying to locate a small plastic part that is cracked which opens the actual latch. My research shows that cheapest price on web is Sixty dollars plus shipping. I contacted Tri Mark and asked for their help. The customer service reps including their managers are obnoxious, greedy, egoestic, and wihtout any traits of Customer Service. The manager I talked to asked me if I had placed an order for the lock at this infleted price and when i replied No, she hung up. She forgets that we the customers are the people who will make the business or bust the business. Well, here you go!!!!!!!!

I dealt with tri-mark just recently on manger door latches. They were helpful and easy to deal with. They no longer manufactured the latch I had but the replacement worked ok the only problem was the distance from the back of the face plate to the latch was about .125 farther and the doors didn't seal tight. I made some spacers out of plate aluminum and that snugged them up. Still like them better than some of the others I've had, though they do seem to have some problems with the internal parts.

Thank you for the help. I found one location on web for 62 dollrs plus shipping from California. Then I went to a local RV place and asked for the door which they had on hand and I purchased for 73 dollars (of course plus TAX). I purchased locally because if I had a problem i could go back to them. I already replaced on my MH and it works like a champ.
