I'm considering putting in a electric freidge in my trailer project. Does anyone use a DC to  AC inverter to provide power to a electric freidge while on the road to keep it cold? I'm concerned that the charging from my truck alternator would not be able to keep up with the needs of the inverter/batteries keeping the freidge cold. -BJ

A 110 v electric only fridge using a compressor, will require a large inverter draw and will probably quickly kill a battery. A RV ammonia type with heaters, will run off 12V or a/c and you will not need an inverter.
