I have ran across these horse trailers while shopping. Both are 2 horse straight load goosenecks with small LQ/DR area's. I haven't heard of either of these brands. I have posted what the owners have said as far as year and make.I just want to make sure that these brands are legit and also would like to get feedback on either brand - good or bad.

1969 Erie - asking $1500 says it needs No work and has NO rust

1993 JM - asking $3500 obo

My thought is - did they even make gooseneck horse trailers with small LQ/DR area's back in 1969?

The 93 JM, could be a JAMCO!  Have you seen it or seen pictures of it?

I've seen pics of it...but I guess I haven't seen pics of a Jamco to compare and see if it looks like one.

I just looked in the archive...no pics of an enclosed 2H straight load GN around that year for Jamco to compare to.

Here's some more details on the description of this "1993 JM" horse trailer. Though it is a straight load it does have drop-down windows at each horses head and sliding windows on each drop-down windows. The tack doors/compartment are taller than most other ones I've seen. It has a rounded nose on the gooseneck. If this description helps any.

I think you should keep looking cause there is much better deals to be found out there.  5 years ago I bout a 97 gn 3 horse slant load with a tack room and only paid $3500.

If it has a rounded nose it is not a Jamco. JAMCO trailers look like that have siding instead of smooths sheets on the sides and the nose has actaully what I would call square edges. 30* nose that hass squared off coners, not rounded!
