Please help... I've read another thread where the jack worked, but not the lights. So we now have the opposite problem. I poked around a bit by the converter (inverter?) and really didn't find any reset buttons anyway. The circuit breakers all appear in the proper position.
The jack makes a clicking noise only. Any ideas? Thanks!

quote.... The jack makes a clicking noise only.
Is it an electric motor driver gear jack, or an electric over hydraulic jack? Check voltage...? Could be bad electrical connection, bad ground, solenoid dirty not making good connection, bad switch, bad electrical motor, etc. etc....

Electric over hydraulic is my recollection. I'll forward this to my husband. Everything is pretty new (~2-3 years), fairly light usage, and has been working fine. Batteries just recently took the nosedive.

Check the voltage of your batteries, they may be low. If they are ok, check the voltage at the jack. The clicking noise is usually the sound a solenoid makes, when it has too low a voltage to operate. Your lights can operate on less than 12 V, but your jack can't drop too much below that number for proper opperation.
