I have 1 for you. My friend was camping in southern Mo. A guy heading down the windy trail into camp rolled his trailer with 3 horses in it. It peeled the roof off of the trailer. He got the trailer back on the road, loded the horses, rode that night and camped all week hauling his horses in this wrecked trailer with the roof peeled back. I am glad I wasn't there I would have had to give him a piece of my mind.

Can you image how sore those horses were from the accident!!! I would have called the sheriff to report the animal abuse.

I saw this on the local news. The horse looked to me like a running quarter horse and it was obviously a stallion from the news footage. The trailer was a shabby thing and it really made me wonder if the fellow left the scene for a "reason" (i.e. it was a stolen horse). There have been no further updates, the horse was last reported being treated at UCD Large Animal Clinic.

Laurie how do you know he wasn't from Iowa!!!
Doesn't matter where he is from since you wouldn't call the sheriff in Iowa for an incident in Mo.
HUH??????
I have no idea were the guy was from. You would call the sheriff were the accident happened not were he was from.
Someone asked "what if the guy was from Iowa" I was stating that it didn't matter were he was from just were the accident happened. Some areas may not have a humane society so you may not be able to do anything in that area.
