Brenderup trailers?
I am new to the horse world. My first lesson in May '08, and now own two horses... one show, one trail.
I am considering buying a Brenderup to tow with my '08 Buick Enclave (SUV),which has a towing capacity of 4500 lbs.
Anyone out there... with the same set up? You Brenderup owners... any input on this particular method of trailering? No long distancing, just country back roads to local shows and trails
That person seems a little neurotic, but aren't we all?
I looked at Bdup when we were hauling with the Trailblazer. My only complaint about the Bdup was the small or no tack room, so knowing a pickup was in my future anyway I went the conventional trailer path.
I would expect the Enclave to be a fine tow vehicle for this intended application.

i purchased a brenderup over a year ago to haul my daughters horse to lessons. I have been pulling it will a 99 toyota 4 runner with a v-6. Our trip is almost 180 miles round trip mostly on interstates. I can usually maintain 65 unless going up a long grade. No problem with one horse, never have used it with two. With my 5,000 lb towing capacity might be pushing it with two. I would call brenderup and see what they recommend. We really like our trailer. It is about everything they say it is.

i purchased a brenderup two years ago to hual my daughters horse to lesson's that are 180 miles roundtrip. I have been pulling with a 99 toyota 4 runner with a v-6 and a tow rating of 5,000 lbs. With one horse i can mantain 65 on the highway unless going up a long grade. i have never pulled with two horse's this might be streching it a bit I think, but not sure. Call brenderup for there recomendation. We really like our brenderup and have also been using it to haul our hay. I can get 40 bales in with the stall devider removed. you will not be disappointed with your purchase, they are so easy to use, with a lot of really nice features

I really like mine. I'm also in Michigan and was delighted with how it performed in late winter (with the sometimes-slushy roads, occasional ice patches, potholes, etc.) I wish I could find someone to trade me for a smaller one (have a 2-horse and wish I had a Solo model) but otherwise have no complaints. My vehicle can only tow 3500 lbs so pulling any more than a single horse with no tack in my two-horse model is a bit much, but the performance has been excellent.

Wow!
Well then, why am I not buying yours????
I need a Royal TC. That's the MAX I can buy. Where did you get yours?
I am in the Traverse City area. However, I drive all over the place.

Because mine is not for sale at the moment. Well, I guess everything is for sale at the right price, but until I save up enough to buy a new Solo, I'd rather hang onto the trailer I have. I left you a phone message with a lead for one that's for sale in Jackson.
