Hello, I was wondering if anyone out there knows anything about Haynes Trailers.  It was manufactured by Haynes manufacturing Chickasha, Ok and it is a 1978 model.  It is in GREAT condition, but I am wondering about the rims as they are split rims with a 4 bolt configuration.  The price is right but I am not able to find anything out on the net.  Thanks for any help

My wife had several Haynes trailers in the late 70s, earlier 80s. The paint and steel on these trailers were very good and they typically pulled very well. The issues were the rims/hubs. She ruined several and we had issues getting them replaced. I would say, that today, it would be almost impossible to find the rims/hubs. They were a modified trailer house axle/rim and seemed to not hold up. If you could put new axles under it with a standard rim, would be hard to beat with comparable trailers from that time.

Yeah, that seems to be the issue I am running into here also.  I do have a garage that will do split rims for the time-being.  Where would one suggest finding new axles for a horse trailer that would be strong enough?
