I am trying to take the carpet out of my GN area and floor in my trailer. The stuff is glued down for dear life. What can I do to make this an easier task? My hands are killing me and I only pulled like 6" up so far!!!

Try the blow dryer or better yet, a heat gun. Use a vice grip pliers to get a good grip on the carpet rather than trying to pull it with your bare hands.

Put a heater in the area to help keep it warm. Blow dryer or heat gun, but if using the blow dryer, it will probably kick off when on High Heat setting.
I second the vise grips. Wonderful things. You can use them on trailer mats too!

After you get it up, there will be residue. If you are reapplying new carpet, this is a must remove. You can get adhesive remover at Home Depot/Lowes/Hardware Stores....Kleen-Strip makes one.....just use adequate ventilation. If your're not putting down new flooring, the remover will clean it up real nice anyway.
