I see they have several inverter type generators.  You would think it would be a decent product from a repetable company.  Anyone here tried one out yet?

I don't know anything about them.... It could use a little more fuel capacity/run time. If I were going to spend that anount of $$$$, I would go for a "proven"  Yamaha EF3000iSEB  http://www.yamaha-motor.com/outdoor/products/modelspecs/444/0/specs.aspx or a Honda Eu3000is.  http://www.hayesequipment.com/eu3000is.htm

I use a Yamaha EF3000Iseb, 3500 watt boost, 2800 running watts.

Yea I am a Honda man as well.  Already run 3 of the es6500's and two eu3000's with my business.  Was just curious to see if anyone had the chance to try one out yet and put it to the test.

BTW Retento you are only about 30 min away from me.  I live in louisburg.

I can't tell about this particular model but I have a "Robin powered" generator I used when I had a camper-bumper pull. Had it mounted on the hitch of the trailer so it was exposed to the nasty and it started and worked great every time. Still keep it around for emergencies and it works well. Again this is just a standard old generator which had a pretty decent muffler for a "cheap" generator.

We spent twenty seven hundred dollars for one that petered out after one year and then of course it was not covered by warranty. I hated the thing. It never did really run right from the beginning. Stick with the honda or yamaha.
