Here's one way to empty your waste tank.
When a man attempted to siphon gasoline from a motor home parked on a Seattle street, he got much more than he bargained for. Police arrived at the scene to find a very sick man curled up next to a motor home near spilled sewage. A police spokesman said that the man admitted to trying to steal gasoline and plugged his siphon hose into the motor home's sewage tank by mistake. The owner of the vehicle declined to press charges saying that it was the best laugh he'd ever had.

Impossible to do............you have to open a trap door to get exposure to the sewage.........
Actually, not impossible. These days, most crooks who steal gas actually use a cordless drill and drill a hole directly into the side of the tank. They then use a small battery-powered pump to extract the gas. In this case, it looks like he drilled the hole and used the old tried-and-true siphon method.

Yes impossible.....Have you ever owned an RV???? They are a TOTAL different experience than a LQ trailer. I do have to admit to my DARWIN experience though.........We owned a couple of horse trailers with LQs before our big life time dream of an RV..........Well after horse shows with the horse trailers LQs....I would empty the BLACK water into a 5 gallon bucket and carry it to our septic system......OMG......after our purchase of our CLASS A diesel pusher and tried the same technique of emptying the black water........Let's just say I was Robin Williams from the movie RV covered in "poop" from the force of gravity.......I QUICKLY learned how to dump at our local state park......!!! I wish I had a video.......the ten thousand would easily be a down payment on another LQ!!!! I just don't see drilling holes in the small spaces ever so crafted RVs to accomadate gas smugglers!!! It would be easier to just go buy the gas for the headache it would take to steal the stuff!!!!!!!!!!

No not impossible. It happened to my neighbours big RV. He got a ticket for leaking sewage at a reststop and when he took it to get checked there was a hole drilled in the grey tank. He's pretty sure it happened when he stopped in Abq.

Yes, I have owned a few of them, and it depends on the make of the rv as to the configuration of the tanks. My Dad's first rv was very easy to access the tanks, my brother's was much more difficult. My first rv had a black water tank that was so exposed that I drug it off on the ramp of a gas station. Learned my lesson on that one!

yes it is possible, we have tones of warrenty claims from holes in the black tank only to find out that they have ben drilled from the outside. It is usualy in a class A or class C. the thiefs look under the vehicle trying to find the gas tank and when they see the black tank they mistake that for the gas tank. It happens quit often. It is quit funny you just wish you could be a fly on the wall for that one!!

I wish someone would get that on hidden camera. Can you imagine the 4-letter words that the crooks use when they realize what they've done?!?! Talk about karma!
