I'd like to repaint the interior of my 2001 alum/FRP/steel Shoop (or at least the sides - the ceiling paint looks OK) and was wondering what type of paint to use. Also, should I strip the old paint off first, or should I just give it a good wash and go from there? Thanks!

Which material(s) are your sides made from-steel, aluminum or FRP? I painted the interior of my aluminum trailer hoping to brighten it up some-used a bonding primer suitable for metal. Worked great. If you are talking a previously painted side, I'm guessing it is steel? Metal bonding primer should still work. I would probably power wash off the old paint.

Inexpensive paints that would work on all of your materials would include Rustoleum, or even Tractor's Supply, oil based enamel. A better paint would include automotive urethane products. As was previously posted, the proper primer is important. If there is any rusted steel, a converter should be first applied.

IIRC, the interior sides (the stall area) have a wooden-y feel. Above that and in front is definitely metal. I'll try to take some photos for a better description. :)
