Does anyone know the empty weight of a 1999 Titan 4 horse Renegade, mangers, drop down windows, 24" on the floor, rear tack.  Did not come with LQ.

The plate says 7,000 GVWR and 2 different numbers for axle weight - can't recall right now what they were, but it said nothing about "empty weight".

Is it a BP or GN?  At 7,000 GVWR I suspect it's a BP? The empty weight won't be shown on the data plate.

The weight should be shown on the registration or if you don't own it yet, call a Titan dealership.  (go to the dealers listing on this site)

The axle numbers are simply ratings. Added together, they usually equal the GVWR and are affected by tire size and pressure.

Found my own answer.  Titan did have it on their web, kind of hidden, but found:  6280#s.

They will have all the floor plans for the Titan horse trailers and you can see the empty trailer weight, tire size, axle ratings etc. I have a 3 horse GN Titan and it is 5140lbs empty. Depending on which 4 horse GN you have it ranges from 5520Lbs to 6975lbs but the site mentioned above will show.

It's pretty strange that the GVWR for your 4H GN is 7000 and it weighs, empty, 62?? pounds?  That leaves you less than 1000 pounds for a load.

Recheck your GVWR; unless the 7000 GVWR was for 1 axle, then it makes sense.

I've got an Avalanche, 4' shortwall GN Titan. It's got at least 10,000 GVWR on it.
