After my cappacino machine, I got a new favorite toy for the LQ- I bought a 18 volt cordless dirt devil brushbroom. Its small, easily swivels around things and does a nice job on carpets and barefloors. I bought it for my house as we have hardwood floors and not much carpeting so i didn't want a full sized vaccum cleaner but I needed something. Its pretty decent in the house but tonight I took it to the trailer. presto-the floorin the LQ cleaned up, the carpet in the midtack cleaned up. Rechargeable, I could very well leave it in the trailer. I might buy a second one for that reason- they run about 30 bucks at walmart.

Farmbabe, just curious, but how do you have time to drink cappicino when playing with horses. I for the life of me have never had a hankerin for a capp on the trails or at a show LOL. I just thought it was funny. glad you have all those goodies though, it must be nice having all of the luxuries.

I don't know--I think there is nothing better than getting up early in a campground, making a pot of coffee, feeding the horses, then watching them eat their breakfast through the rising steam of my coffee mug. I love listening to the little wuffling noises they make as they eat.
My coffee pot and coffee grounds are the FIRST things I pack when I go camping.
I don't think I have a favorite "appliance". I mostly primitive camp and do not have a generator. So, if it doesn't run on propane or batteries, I have no use for it in the trailer. Although I dearly love my colman battery operated shower. Best $20 I have ever spent on camping equipment!

CD player with outside speakers... not really an appliance, but nice accessory. We play lots of Old Time Radio programs in the evenings while relaxing with a nice beverage and campfire. Some of our favorite programs are the Six Shooter, Lone Ranger, Suspense and Dimension X.

Built in generator, AC. Like the micro and coffee pot. Love an awning (not an appliance but love having one). Have camped 10 days at elk camp with no hookups, was nice to be able to have it all...!

Nothing like a built in on board Onan Generator - just push the button and everything cranks right up. If you can afford a trailer with one it is definately worth the money. We mostly camp with hook-ups but when the kids have a play day or 4-H event it makes it well worth having. Second best - nice bathroom (lg shower and real toilet). Not an appliance, but makes camping much easier.

My oven. It's not really an add on, but it was a MUST HAVE in whatever trailer I decided to purchase. I make biscuits, pizza, taquitos, garlic bread, anything I want in there. It's amazing how many new LQ trailers don't have ovens.

Definitely a/c! Which includes the Honda generator to run it, of course.
The awning is my other favorite addition. Last weekend it rained ALL DAY Saturday while we were camping, and I can't even tell you how happy I was that we had that awning installed!

Where did you find a coleman battery operated shower for 20 bucks? I primitive camp too (altho without a LQ), and by the end of the 3rd day, I'm looking forward to getting home to a shower and feeling sorry for anyone I'm standing or walking near until I get there! LOL

Aside from all the stuff that came with our LQ..My Coleman drip coffee maker that works on the campstove. The deal that stands up on a campstove to make toast,The extra 40 gallon water tank,The Yamaha genny, those $1.99 bucket straps from Country supply. That cheap plastic step we got at Kmart. Two dozen bungie cords, the tie down straps and the 15'x12' tarps that keep our boys dry in the monsoons. The little clip deals from camping world to keep our table cloth from blowing away.and those barely fit a full bale hay bags!

I got my Coleman Battery shower at Kmart 2 years ago. I believe that Cabella's and Gander Mtn carry them also. They are seasonal. You may have to order off Coleman website or Ebay.

My trailer is a homemade LQ. I wanted a cowboy shower but it had a shower installed and I was going to take it out for more room and install a cowboy shower in the back. After this season of using it I decided to keep it the way it is. Never thought I would like it so much.
Power ceiling 2 way fan with Maxx Air cover. Will get auto temp control next time.
