Have both the A2 and the Wahl cordless, LOVE the cordless. You don't have to worry about the cord being long enough to do their legs or getting tangled up in it (I'm a klutz). I have found the Wahls to be quiter with less vibration. They are kind of delicate though-doesn't take much of a drop to break a little plastic clip that holds the blades on. I did say I'm a klutz, right?

I use the Andis brand I think mine is a AG2 I bought it over 10yrs ago and I have never had a problem with it.Very quiet , has 2 speeds... Has a long cord on it which makes it nice.

I suggest one with an adjustable blade. I have a corded wahl and really like how I can make the blade cut really close for muzzle hairs, and less close for ears and the jowl area.
