So I bought an '85 gooseneck Trail-et walk through trailer. Paid next to nothing for it since the rear doors were damaged (useable, but not pretty). Contacted Trail-et to see if they had any doors laying around - nope.
So my question is - where do old trailer go to die? Are there junkyards that part them out like old cars? The rest of the trailer is in GREAT shape - just the back doors are in need of repair. I have a friend who is a metal worker who could probably do a great job fixing them, but if I can just buy a new set it would be much easier...

I would imagine, that it would be nearly impossible to "match up" a set of trailer doors.... If you got a friend that will swap some of their welding skills for some fine "Kentucky Whiskey", then that's the route I would take. Fix the doors you got, then you'll know what you have. You may find some used doors that look good now and may be rusted away within a year or two. Repair your doors!!
