Depends on model of Sundowner? 727 or steel framed trailers don't have very good resale anywhere. (Do a search on here and find out how many are for sale) I say it's more like 8-10%/year and after 4-5 yrs. you start going up again.

Anymore thoughts on depreciation? I was about to post the same question. I bought a 2H all Aluminum recently but am considering buying a steel framed aluminum skin that has a better configuration for me. The problem I am having is that the 2H alum is in terrific shape and cost 3K less than the Hawk I am looking at buying..... The Hawk is a year older and has a little rust here and there (wheels, underside of the frame on the outside pieces (not the cross pieces - they look galvanized). So it seems that a $17K trailer 5 years later is only worth 10K? In another 5 years, it's be worth 6K?
