The idea of having a hail damaged trailer roof, might have some advantages. Golf balls fly further, faster and more accurately because of the dimples manufactured into their surfaces. The dimples create a small turbulence, which in turn increases the laminar flow and the ball goes where you want it to, sometimes. Skills not withstanding. The golfing folks have spend many dollars in the quest of having the best balls in the industry. Surely this technology can be used on something else.
With all this research and technology available, so far not being used by the trailer industry, is it possible that mother nature is actually helping us? By providing dimples on our trailers, is hail damage actually a blessing in disguise? Could the benefits provided to golf balls be expected on horse trailers?
What if a template could be produced, that would show you exactly where each dimple on your trailer should be placed? Imagine the JCWhitney adds for such a product. 49% better gas mileage; Increase your torque and power by 63%. Blow truckers off the road with your new, high tech trailer! Be the envy of your neighbourhood with perfect results every time.
Don't hide your dents. Be proud of them and show them off. Add more for the ultimate fashion statement.

I wouldn't mind having them, but,I sure didn't like buying a trailer that the dealer HID the fact from us that it had hail damage.I'd rather get it after I have paid for it then to buy it already done.

Did ya'll see the trailer that she was talking about with the hail damage? That thing is really nice for the money. With the price they got on it, you would think the roof would be full of holes like a flour sifter!!
I like that Gard!! Makes me think that I should stick my head out the window while going down the Interstate. That should increase my speed and improve my gas mileage. The older I get the more "dimples" my head gets..... I raised up and moved a rafter in the pump house with the back of my head yesterday afternoon!! LOL!..... That should be good for .0008729 mpg right there!!
