2002 CM Norstar. (8/02). This trailer is actually built by Cimmeron for CM. Everything has been very well maintained. 8 foot LQ. Installed 2 7,000 lb torsion Lippert axles with brakes 2-25-21. Bearings/lugs replaced 2024, tires 14 ply Hercules installed 5-2-24. Yearly bearing repack done. Electric jack, 12 foot awning (replaced 2018), ramp. Onan 4000 gas generator serviced with oil change, new air and fuel filter 4-3-23. Starts right up and runs great. Fiberglass insulated roof, roof sanded and recoated 2022. No leaks. Replaced water pump 9-1-21. 2 burner propane stove, microwave, sink, hot water heater, refrigerator, shower, toilet, all interior lights are LED. Dinette folds out into a bed. Interior immaculate 18 gallon water tank for shower/sink. 2 new marine batteries 6-24-22. 2 propane tanks, regulator and all rubber hoses replaced 2024. Shocker Air surge hitch, makes for a smooth pull and ride. Air conditioner blows super cold air. Horse compartment has WERM floor, I inspect the underside of the trailer twice a year and it is clean, no rust spots. Drop down horse head windows with screened slides, mangers, not hay bags, hooks in horse compartment over butt side of first horse perfect for hose, cord, poop fork storage. 2 Plexiglass slides on butt side that are removable for summer travel but this trailer does stay pretty cool and comfortable in the summer due to the insulated roof. 2 roof vents. Ramp is solid and rubber lined horse compartment rubber lined has no tears. Separate tack area is accessed from the back door has 2 saddle racks and a saddle blanket rack. 2 big brush storage bins. Big 15 gallon gas tank is mounted in this compartment, see photo. Gas fill access is on outside of trailer. Interior lights in horse compartment work, sometimes. I had someone look at it and they could not find the issue. Back L rim is rated for 80 psi, others are 110 rated. I had to replace the rim on my Michigan trip due to road damage incurred on an Indiana highway. I run 80 psi in all my tires so not an issue. Lastly I had to modify the 18 gallon water tank, When I bought it the tank had inch deep calcium, white flaky sediment in the bottom that I could not wash out. This sediment ruined the pump, which I replaced after the tank was cleaned. I had to remove the tank and wash it out with a hose to get all the white flakes out. To get the tank out I had to cut a horizontal sink drain pipe, which is repaired, and make a flap seal in the tank to get it completely clean. I sealed this flap up and reinstalled the tank so just out of caution I don't ever fill it to the top, I leave about an inch of air in the top just in case it may leak from this repaired flap area. I'd have replaced the tank but this size is not made anymore. There is also a tie rite hi tie on the back that needs a new 4 foot nylon flex bar. Parts for the hi tie excluding the bar will be included with the trailer. New bar is around 50 bucks and I just have not gotten around to fixing it. Trailer is currently winterized and I have done this since 2019. Location SW CO. AC works great, will freeze you out but furnace does not put out enough heat to adequately heat the trailer which is typical of these units. I use a small 7500 watt plug in electric heater that runs off the generator or when plugged in to a 30/50 amp electric source. This keeps the trailer quite toasty and warm when heat is needed. Note: linens on mattress and all personal items will not be included in the price except for a portable electric heater which I will throw into the package. The CO2 detector also needs replacing, went bad my last trip, a 30 dollar fix. I have detailed all issues I am aware of with this trailer, nothing to hide. This is a heavy trailer, weight about 8150 lbs dry, best pulled by a 3500/350 truck as pin weight for a 2500 is pushing your limit. I use a 3500 duelly flatbed. It won't work for one of those new insanely high bed pick ups. Just my opinion but I haul safe and not sorry.
