This well-maintained and hard-to-find Brenderup Baron One TC came in recently for us to show as a private sale. The owner would still be happily using the trailer, but she needed a 2-horse trailer and recently took delivery of her brand new Böckmann Portax K (an easy-to-tow German trailer similar in concept to Brenderup).
Brenderup trailers are designed to be towed safely by many of today's smaller, more fuel-efficient SUVs and truck. The owner of this trailer uses a Nissan Pathfinder as her tow vehicle. The Baron One is for one horse to 18 hands, and since this is a "TC" model, it features Brenderup's patented InstaTack convertible tack compartment/dressing room. During travel, the tack compartment lid is down, allowing plenty of light to stream in through the large window. At your destination, flip up the tack compartment lid and you have a standing-height dressing room. That's InstaTack.
Butt and chest bars are adjustable for height and as you lower the butt bar, it also shortens the stall. The butt bars feature easy-to-use latches so you don't spend much time in the kick zone and Brenderup stall hardware fits well for quiet travel. The ramp is an extra-tall 5 feet for a comfortable angle for loading and unloading, yet the twin gas springs provide excellent assist for ease in lifting. You may run with the rear storm panel up or down, although most folks run with it down for added light and ventilation.
We're preparing this listing just heading out for the day. We plan to expand it a bit in a few days, but even with our somewhat abbreviated listing, you can see that this Brenderup Baron One TC has a lot of offer. This one's been well maintained and is in the hard-to-find silver-gray color (most Brenderups are white). This Baron One is roomy, it has a nice dressing room and you can pull it safely with a smaller-than-typical vehicle. What more could you ask? We invite you to stop by and check it out!
