Description: Here's a Brenderup Royal TC. The Royal is designed for horses to 17 hands. The "TC" in Royal TC stands for "Tack Compartment." And it's that tack compartment that makes the TC the most popular of the Royal series models. *** Brenderups are designed to be towed safely by many of today's smaller, more fuel efficient vehicles. The Royal weighs 1950 lbs., but equally important, the loaded tongue weight is only about 175 lbs. (Compare to the typical 400-500 lb. loaded tongue weight for a traditional 2H trailer without dressing room.) Brenderups feature a sophisticated chassis design that doesn't require a heavy tongue weight for directional stability. Brenderups have been in production since the early 1950s, so the design is well proven.
