Hi Everyone,

Was wondering what experience you've had with having a rawhide wood covered tree versus a fiberglass wood covered tree.

I'm getting ready to purchase a saddle and considering buying the fiberglass wood covered tree.  I only trailride and don't plan to ever do any roping off my saddle.  I know the rawhide cover is stronger but feel the fiberglass cover is also strong as well as waterproof.

Has anyone had any bad experiences with a fiberglass wood covered tree?

Thanks!
