okay I purchased a 1 year old jack, I also have 2 other donkeys one make an the other female. I plan to breed him with the female, but when I let him go into the pasture he would go up to them and then they would run away. Ths kept happening and soon my other male jumped the fence, thankfully he is okay. But I need help I dont know what to do will they get used to eachother? The new jack is in a pen right now right next to the pasture and they come up to it but not close enough to sniff him. please help me!!!!!!!!!

Give it time, they will get used to each other.

Despite their often smaller size, intact Jacks can be dangerous to handle. They are often kept separately, and there may even be local (laws) that dictate such...

I will suggest that you check with other knowledgeable donkey owners and breeders on other internet forums. One helpful group is:

Are both male donkeys intact jacks? If so, you may be asking for trouble. Sometimes a jack and gelding will coexist peacefully, but I doubt that two jacks will, especially with a jennet that they will be competing for.
