I had a prospective buyer for my 2004  4Star LQ horse trailer and she says her GMC truck will not have enough clearance under it to hook it up.    I tried to explain the trailer jack was setting down low to keep the frig. going.  Is this a thing now with new trucks and trailers? We towed it with 1997  3/4 Ton Dodge diesel  and also a 2011 Ram dually with no problems hooking it up and having clearance.   Any insite to this problem will be helpful.

Common problem with newer trucks and older trailers.  Side rails on truck and beds are too high.  Probably she needs to block the axles on the trailer to make it fit under the taller truck.

Goosenecks couplers are usually adjustable up & down.  Is that one not or will that still not resolve the issue?

I just bought a Shetron for this very reason.  I have a tall 2016 1 ton GMC singe rear wheel and Shetron is making trailer with more clearance for the gooseneck
