 Hi
Are any of you using a surge protector when plugging into the pedestal?
Good idea or unnecesary expense?
Thanks

I never did until now.  Last year when at a show at our local fairgrounds a friends trailer got fried due to a bad ground in the pedestal plug.  Fried all of their appliances which resulted in thousands in damages.  I bought a surge protector the next week.
