Time for new batteries in my trailer and due to how difficult it is to check my water in this trailer (poor placement in my opinion) I am Thinking about going to AGM batteries for my LQ wondering what you all think? I dry camp mostly, and when at home i do leave the trailer plugged in simply to keep refridgerator on inbetween trips

I rreplace my batteries every other year for the past 30 years plus.  When we're home, the trailer is plugged into 110V power - including all winter.  We rarely have a battery problem.  I use WalMart batteries as they stand behind them and there are WalMarts thruout the 7 or 8 states we travel in.

I looked at the AGM batteries but I could not justify the cost.

PS I never check the water in batteries.

Heard positive reviews about AGM, but did not use it myself. Like some of my friends, we also prefer Wallmart batteries due to the fact that there are many stores all over the country. I read a lot about how they are taking over the markets and if you need a good analysis on this topic, then this walmart research papers will help you. I’ll add on my own that their products cannot boast of special durability or reliability, but the fact that in almost any town you can go and buy exactly what you expect is their main advantage.
