I have an old Merhow trailer which was made with walls of wood encased in fiberglass skin. The door needed to be repaired and I need to replace the skin. I am having a lot of trouble finding a replacement skin as this trailer is over 30 years old and the Merhow folks no longer have detailed records.

Hello - I do not think you will find the exact product - fiberglass reinforced plywood - it was not a good choice as it does rot inside out FRP RV wall panels - you can probably find a suitable replacement - typically the doors are just camper type doors without a screen, if so you can probably get a replacement for the entire door and screw it on,,, Risa FRP Panels | Fiber-Tech Industries

Contact a local big trailer repair place. This industry still uses a lot of FRP and it works pretty well because there are no cuts or intrusions into the FRP. You'll have to replace the entire section. The doors are semi door cores and readily available.
