I don't know why my previous post didn't work. Anyway, I just wanted to comment on how much fun they must have had choosing colors. Wow!

The SNOW north of Detroit must be quite deep!  Things here in Virginia are slowly improving gabz.  It looks like you need a break. Cmon down.

Groovy baby, groovy! That's one shaggin' trailer. Dang, I need to get one of those and just be the talk of town.

Gabz, make sure you check what your Bug is capable of pulling, the GVR and the GVWR numbers could be a problem! Oh and I would definately put a WDH on your Bug too.

A WDH ??  but the VW bug has a rear engine... won't that be enough?  Just think - all that weight back there, I won't wear out the front tires.  Oh, um... gee - I guess I won't be able to turn corners either. Duh.

My '56 had a 36 horsepower engine. Do you think that would be enough power?  Probably couldn't do electrical to the trailer though... the bug only had a 6 volt battery. : (

Anyway - I sure hope Dave & Rick don't make me pay the $25 trailer for sale ad fee .... ssssshhhhh....

Gabz,

There was a photo album with  a fancy dress from Nordstroms that Michael or maybe its Michelle is putting on Ebay.

Whew, it has been a long winter!

Yes, and as I said - NICE !
Then I browsed around and looked at the other "album", which is what I thought you were a bit nervous about getting in trouble for.
Between French, German, Italian and English I sometimes get a bit confused on the language and gender specific spellings of "Michael", so maybe it wasn't a "gender bender" thing about the dress anyway.
If it was, so what ? (-:

OH... The Michael Kors Dress?

I am quite sure that with a price tag of $2695 - "Michael" is the name of the DESIGNER ... like Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, etc.

Yes, too much winter and too much Michael Jackson crap...

Need at least a 67' bug.  It'd work out fine cause you wouldn't want to pull it any faster than 30 mph anyway.....  Can you put anything bigger than a 13h pony in there?

Speaking of that, we were on a ride the other day and saw a little girl on a tiny (Shetland?) pony riding with her family.  It was shorter than my desk top.  We figured, to take it places, all you'd have to do is throw it in the back of the car with the kids!

Don't laugh - I've seen it done - Small pony in a minivan - the cargo type. They had his head tied between the two front seats and the dad lifted him in and out like a big dog... craziest thing I've ever seen!

Ok, the trailer is cute. But that dress!! $2695! NOT, and did you notice they had the dress hanging in a BARN! Man, I bet that dress cost more than the trailer.

Ummm...  I'm not sure, but if memory serves me (and it doesn't always).    .. my '67 VW Bug was one of those clutchless shifter things ... one of the first semi-automatics (that sounds strange too!!) ...  I don't think the transmission would have held up... I blew the transmission oil cooler on it just driving around!

Speaking of loading the horse in the minivan...this link shows a rather well trained horse and a custom Cadillac...

When I was a kid a lady that owned the place where we boarded our horses had a mini that would ride in the back of her el camino.  She didn't use the trailer for him unless she had to take one of her big horses.  He'd ride like that to the vet and shows, didn't matter to him as long as he got to go.   She had a board (2x12 I think) and he would walk right up his ramp and ride in the back like a dog.  It was funny watching the other drivers when they realized it wasn't a dog, but a horse in the back of that truck, car, what were el caminos classified as?

It's ashame that "Big Lots" didn't have more paint, they could have splashed some on the barn too!

I knew a lady that would haul her 2-3 shetland ponies in the back of her suburban. Can't imagine the smell that was left in it.
