 Hi,
I have a Bison LQ trailer with two front jacks, and they are operated by an electric jack.  It has always been slow (which is expected), last trip out the motor seemed to be super slow at the beginning, then would work as normal, but always did the job.  When I got home, I lifted the trailer to get the truck out from underneath, then lowered it a bit.  Stopped to do something else, but when I came back to finish lowering the trailer I had NOTHING from my electric jacks.  I have charged the battery.  I have tapped on the motor to see if there is any gunk.  But when I push the button it is just dead - nothing.  Not a sound or anythign from either the raise or lower buttons.  I have been tryign to do some research, sounds like its either the motor, a ground, or bad connection somewhere?  Any thoughts out there?  It seems odd that the motor woudl just stop like that, or is that common?

thanks!
Amy

They normally wire the jacks with an inline fuse.  Did you check for one?

Try touching the power straight to the motor to see if it activates it. The switch or relay might be bad. I'd also try cleaning all the terminals to ensure it's getting a good connection.

I second connecting jumper cables to both terminals on the motor directly, if you put power to it the motor should turn.
