I have a 99 sundowner with central heat and air. It has a wall thermostat. I tried to turn it on this year and nothing happened. The wall thermostat lights up with functions but air doesn't come on. How do I trouble shoot the problem? Does that automatically mean my air conditioner is bad or something with the wall turn on. It doesn't even try to kick on???ont-family:Arial; font-size:12px; color:#000000">

The thermostat itself runs off of 12V (batteries/converter). The rooftop unit is powered by the 110V shore power cord. It sounds like your 110 isn't hot. Is your microwave working? Follow the cord for a good connection, and then check breakers (in the nose of the trailer) and maybe even the breaker that powers the plug the trailer is actually plugged into.

If the roof unit buzzes, but doesn't run that's another problem. Sitting can allow mouse nests, and other things to need a good cleaning and lubing up top. Dirt dobbers are famous in there too.

Well, find info about it on Google, that's it!

I have a question, how often did you fill-up the air conditioner?

Fill up with what? If you are speaking of refrigerant it only needs to be filled if it has a leak and filling it up is almost pointless unless you fix the leak because it will leak out again. The refrigerant never goes bad.
