I recently purchased a 2018 Ford F350 Dually. I have been trying to find a gooseneck horse trailer, but have tried multiple trailers and they all have almost NO clearance above the bed rails and tailgate. I am looking for a 3-4 horse trailer with a dressing room (no LQ) for short distances and local travel. Does anyone here have a later model F350 Dually? And what trailer do you have that works? I know you can lengthen the gooseneck hitch and raise the axles a few inches - but the trailers we have found start with 1" of clearance, so I don't see how we can get to 6-8" of clearance with lifting alone. I'm hoping we just haven't tried the right brand.....

Just purchased a 2020 Ford F350 and I know what you are talking about these trucks are really tall.  I have a 2012 Elite living quarters and when I put a ruler to it, it looks like I have almost 7 inches between the trailer and the truch bed side.  Don't know how to post a picture here or I would show you.  We haven't pulled it yet except to pull the trailer out of the barn and park it which required moving it around over some uneven terrain.  Husband thinks it is going to be ok, but I'm worried.  Going to haul to the vet's this week.  I'll let you know how it goes!
