Hey! I had a fender repaired but I still have to put the trim on the edge. I searched the forums because I know this has been answered but I couldn't find the thread.
Can someone reccomend the best adhesive to use for pvc trim to aluminum fender? Thanks

This is not a glued on product but you may want to consider something like this

Thanks for the suggestion and link.
I already purchased the replacement trim and wanted the best suggestion for a tough spot on aluminum.

I've used Gorilla glue to fasten rubber seals to the doors & drops. It's water activated and foams (to fills voids) so use it sparingly. I apply it, then shut the door or window to clamp the seal against the door. It's waterproof when set.

If you are talking about Trim Lok on the lip edge of the fender, it doesn't take any glue. There is metal in it that grabs the lip. If it doesn't stick enough, squeeze it some.

Even Trim-lok benefits with a little bit of Gorilla glue. Especially with a 19 year old trailer. (Sundowner valuelite, still hauling with me pullin' )

Two part urethane epoxies will ahere trim pieces to aluminum. In fact, the same adhesives are used by many manufacturers, to fit panels to another structure during a body build. It's a handy adhesive to have available for many uses. They are available on line or through a shop that sells automotive refinishing supplies. There are several brand names available.
