Someone suggested that I look into spray foaming the ceiling of the horse area (even though it is insulated and lined) of my trailer because they knew someone that had done it and it significantly reduced the summer temperature. The exterior of the lining is what would be sprayed, so the insulation would be visible when in the horse area. Has anyone else done this? I live in East Texas and it is scorching in the summer... sometimes spring, winter, and fall too! :)

I recall that there we some discussions about reducing heat from the roof, and some painted the top of the trailer with white paint. I went to Congress one year to meet up with some folks that had a foam type application for the top of the roof, I learned about it from Mr Trailer. But some folks suggest just by painting the top of the roof whit helped with heat.
