After having some storm damage on our LQ trailer late spring, we are being drug through endless stonewalling on our claim and hope to have repairs done so we don't cancel every flippin trip this fall. ANYONE here insure a small road tractor Class 6 (Freightliner/Kenworth/Ford F650/International) for non-commercial use???? Thank you.

I have my Peterbilt insured by Farm Bureau. I have not had to make a claim and hope I never do. Good luck.

I just went through shopping for insurance. Called an even dozen agents in area.
Make it easy for you and the agent.

After speaking to them over the phone... (You want to know how easy they're to contact.) Fax or e-mail, a copy of your present declaration page with the your license number. Include an e-mail address & phone number. Just write it in. Also blank your current prices on the declaration page...

In what way are they stonewalling...if they denied the claim, what reason did they give?...if they didn't deny the claim, then what are they waiting on?

Is this on a Nationwide Home Policy or a Nationwide Ag Policy??

It is a Class 6 truck and LQ horsetrailer(RV) policy with fair limits. Took the trailer to an RV service to have everything checked out...they gave a big Dr.bill estimate and said they had a hard time with Nationwide. Husband paid for their time on the trailer ($$$) and brought iy home. The adjuster (field) came and looked at the damage and took video and pics of the whole rig. Saw the obvious damage, said it was well kept and in otherwise good working order, "exceptional condition". We felt a little better after he came out, but the adjuster in HO works part time and drug her butt on it till I squeaked. Damage happened late June.

PS;  storm damage happened while we were primitive camping, hooked onto the truck.lightening and high wind.
