Should I order an escape door for the 2 horse slant trailer? It's about $1K option. I will not use the first stall as a storage, since I trailer 2 horses. i never had it in my other 2 horse slants, so I don't know if/how I'll use it. I heard it's a good for resale, but again it's only a 2 horse slant...

In my opinion, we need more data. GN or BP? What size front dressing room? Reason I ask is usually, an escape door in a 2H slant requires the axles to be more rearward placed, resulting in heavier tongue weight and longer wheelbase. So it can impact how the vehicle acts, especially with regards to "squat". If the truck is big enough, doesn't matter.

I would consider it if you're getting a living quarters trailer if you think it will really make a difference in resale. I wouldn't think you'll actually fully recover the price of the option in resale.  For a bumper pull, a person hauling one horse would probably put it on the front so the storage space wouldn't be a factor anyway. For a 3 horse, it's handy as heck.
