I'm looking at a trailer very similar to this one:

https://horsetrailerworld.com/home/trailerdetail.asp?ID=1262153

Wondering if anyone knew how hard it would be to convert the back so it can haul horses too? Couple of drop down windows on the far wall is what I was thinking, maybe a walk through door from the other horse area so you don't have to put down the ramp every time?

Anyone know someone who would even do this?

Thanks in advance

Most toy haulers do not have the structural strength in the floors to support the weight of multiple horses. You can make a horse trailer into a toy hauler, but few toy haulers are strong enough for horses.

Please re-read the ad. The trailer is a horse trailer with a toy hauler portion added. It's a custom order. I'm wondering how expensive and difficult it would be to convert the toy hauler part back into a horse trailer part.

Sorry, I didn't take the time to see the link in your posting.. A good sheet metal fabricator should be able to help install dividers, drop down windlows, various tie rigs, vents  etc. Using parts from a wreck or purchasing new from a dealer/internet would shorten the labour charges, necessary in the various fabrications. Ebay often has various interior trailer  items for sale. A well equipped shop with a plasma cutter could make short work in making the various portals. It can also be done with power saws or grinders and your own efforts. Use stainless hardware in your constructions. You have a good trailer to start with, adding just what you want, can make it a perfect transportation.

I didn't read the ad either. Was under the same assumption that it was an RV. That said, unless you are going to do the work yourself, you should get an estimate of what the conversion is going to cost. Labor ain't cheap these days.  If doing it yourself, horsetrailer parts are not easy to track down and shipping is killer. But you may be in an area where parts are available simply for driving to pick them up. Good luck in your endeavor either way. If you go this route, it will be interesting to see your progress.
