I have a Ford F-350 club cab long bed 4x 4. I need new tires and have some quersitons, if you don't mind. I currently have Michelin whatever LT 275 x 70 x 18 125/122 R, E rated, I think. They were fine.
My first question is this: One reveiw said that the A/T which is what is now sold is not as good as the old ones, and that it is a very rough riding tire. Other reviews had to have this tire rebalanced as soon as they drove it out of having had it installed. . So, is the A/T version OK? Ia there another tire that you would recommend instead
My second questions is this: It is a very tall truck. I actually think that the height negatively impacts the stability on gravel roads (when I'm driving too fast), and on snow and ice. I was wondering about lowering the height a little by changing the tire size - lowering the aspect ratio, essentially. I don't know how much lower it could be made reasonably, and I don't know the other implications of making that kind of a change.
Any insight from you knowledgeable people would be much appreciated.
I pull a 3 horse slant that would like for my trailer to bve lower. I just haven't had it blocked, which it problably needs.

Michelin is the best tire made for your truck in my opinion. The a/t tires are good. Only use the recommended size tire on the vehicle, you can find the tire size on the door sticker inside of the drivers door. Any changes in size will negatively impact the vehicle and will also change the accuracy of the speedometer.
