Can a black water tank be mounted between runners OR, has anyone installed a small tank on the floor and mounted toilet on above floor platform? Husband and person doing work want me to just use tank buggy. I can’t lift that to take anywhere to empty. I want better solution. They say my ideas won’t work as runners too close together and not a good option for above floor idea. Please, all ideas and advice welcome.

You should not need to lift the tank buggy to move it. They are mounted on wheels and are actually fairly easy to move around. I have pulled mine while riding on a garden tractor, as well as pulled it by myself over several hundred yards of rough terrain. I live in an LQ trailer, then fifth wheel camper for six months with no sewer line and had to empty tanks this way weekly.

If I am camping Where there is no place to dump it properly, and I’m pulling my horses, I got no where to put it. I don’t want to just rely on that. I found some tanks today, we are going to put one under a platform on top of the floor. Then I can dump normally when I get to a dump station.

Under the floor is not an option. Runners are 4 inches apart. Nothing to mount to. Even if we could cut one out for the tank, there still isn’t enough room. I got maybe 4 inches without risking dragging something.
