I have a manual 2 step awning on my 2005 4 Star.  Is it possible to upgrade it to electric without replacing the whole awning?

You "might" be able to reuse the fabric and the attachment rail on the trailer. The arms are different though.

How old or what's the fabric's condition ?

It's in good condition.  Guess I'll just keep pulling and slamming.  LOL

Why slamming ? Is the spring slack or too tight ? Can be tightened or loosened ...

Just letting it go the last half foot or so to roll up tight.  Not really slamming.  No big deal, but the electric one I had sure was nice.....
