?Looking for information on these trailer I know they were only around for a very short time but there are some trailers out there.  The trailers are very similar to Jamco but are not the true Jamco they look like they are made right and are heavy duty and very nice.  I guess any info would be appreciated.  I cannot find anything online.  As i understand it the trailer company would have been around in 2005 ??

You might contact Jamco and ask them what the deal was with Jamco Blue Hen horse trailers...
it might have been as simple as a cease and desist letter...

I don't know that I've ever seen a Blue Hen trailer. Blue Hen was a Co. that had operations in Gordonsville, TN about that time, and produced Southwind trailers. Best I recall, probably less than 40 built. They had several unique patents, that had "improved" on the tongue & groove plank design used by Jamco & Hillsboro. The Southwinds were typically very heavy, strongly built trailers.

After that run, Blue Hen & Jamco partnered up and the plant and operation became known as Jamco South, and was run by Jamco out of Canada. Their trailers were almost like the Jamcos from Canada and they had several dealers in the southern US including us here at Select. I can't recall exactly how long that arrangement lasted, but Jamco south did not survive a very long time, and within a couple of years total, everything had been moved back to Canada.
