Subject: Buying an older aluminum trailer

Looking at purchasing a 1995 all aluminum Featherlite. Any watchouts/things to look for buying an older aluminum trailer? What generally wears first? Should I steer away from something that old? Thanks!

Definitely lift the mats and look at the floor for pitting...check the seam between the roof and the sidewalls...examine the tires and look for unusual wear...cupping, inner edge wear, outer edge wear that might indicate axle issues...et cetera

Always check first the frame for some rust.
