Looking at buying a newer bigger trailer.  Who is the best dealer in Oklahoma to deal with?  Who do I avoid?  Any tips etc?

Thanks

That is a loaded question. It really depends on what YOU are looking for in a dealer.

I wouldn't limit myself to just one state. I would look nationwide to find what I wanted.

If you are looking pre-owned, you won't have a ton of choice because it will depend on who has what you want.

If you are shopping new- then you have a lot of control. I like a close dealer that can help me with issues and questions. With that- will they have a brand I want? I know I see some dealers offer "nationwide service." But I also know that when a shop is snowed under, the folks that bought there get to the front of the line. My John Deere dealer does the same thing, I understand.

I cannot personally vouch for any dealers in OK. But it does seem that if you can walk in and actually talk to the owner, things may go smoother. I don't mean you have to buy from the owner, but is it a family owned and operated business with family in the building every day? I like those kinds myself.

Mulegirl76, who is the dealer ?  If as bad as you say, others should know so to avoid.  In this area, we have a few horse trailer dealers that makes "used car salesman" look like saints.

Since you're looking for pre-owned and are well versed in what's kosher or not...look to private sellers...no markup, no middle man and hopefully no BS!
