Can anyone provide feedback on the EXISS 3 Horse Express Bumper Pull - CXF Edition trailer? A good friend is looking to purchase one and I was hoping someone has some experience that they can share.

The empty weight of 3100 lbs with a GVWR of 7000 lbs (with 2 x 3500 lb axles) may be a bit of a fine line.

Comments appreciated on your experience with this model.

Here is a link to the spec sheet:

Thanks !! 3CW

A little light for three horses and their gear. Would be fine for two horses. Double check the axles to be sure they were listed correctly.

I haven't seen one of the trailers, so cannot tell you about them. But many 3H bumper pulls carry that same axle. With a GVWR of 7,000#, which is the weight on the ground itself, plus 10% or more tongue weight, that gives you 7700# of capacity. Minus the 3100# equals 4600# for three horses and tack. Sufficient I'd say.

Now- virtually any receiver hitch rated for over 5,000# requires it to be used as weight distributing. Just saying...
