I am thinking about replacing the incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs both inside and out. From what I have read online I would not have to swap out fixtures or light assemblies themselves- just the bulbs. Anyone else do this? Positive or negative experiences?

There are a couple things I would like to achieve with this switch. Inside, I would like the light to be brighter as well as the bulbs cooler. Outside, I am interested in brightness. I have one marker light on a fender that I swear is always out when I am in the driver's seat, but it is actually on and just not very bright.

Thanks for your help!

You may find that you'll need one incandescent bulb on each circuit to draw enough power that it won't have issues (only happens on older trucks but ya never know).  Try it and see.  I've got all LED on my trailer and my truck flatbed, LOVE THEM.

?I switched to LED on my Peterbilt nd it made my turn signals blink fast when I didn't have a trailer attached, I added a plug in resistor( one on each side ) in series and it fixed it. See attached video. This is not where I bought them. I got them at a local trailer supply store.
