I'm looking for a manure spreader that can be pulled by a one-person ATV. Does anyone have that configuration? What brands of ATV and spreader do you have, and what do you like/dislike about your set up? Thanks in advance!

Tractor Supply actuals lists a small 23 bushel manure spreader in their catalog which you can order.  It is ground driven and designed to be pulled behind a lawn tractor or ATV.  http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/loyal-manure-spreader-23-bushel

I have the Newer Spreader and love it. Just the right size for 3 horses. If you have more horses/stalls, you would probably need something bigger.

I also have the newer spreader and like it. I use anything to pull it - Honda four wheeler, side by side or small tractor. I have had it probably 10 years and it still works fine

Thanks for the good info and reviews. There's a Tractor Supply opening in my city in a couple of months...I wonder if they'll have any "grand opening" sales? The Newer Spreader sounds like a nice small spreader too. I hope to build a compost bin and let the manure sit for a while, then spread it. Is there a spreader that works best for composted manure?

I have a 25 bushel spreader from Country MFG. I can pull it with an 18hp riding mower. But I use it now with a atv or side by side. I have had it for 10yrs and no issues. http://www.countrymfg.com/m_600.htm

From what I have read the new spreader is great but it is not for straight manure, if you have heavy manure with very little bedding it will foul up. Because of this I went with an ABI 50cu/ft(they also make a 25cu/ft ground drive), I pull it with my john deere gator hpx and it works pretty well, I can clean 10 clydesdale stalls with no bedding and that is just about a full load.

I looked at some of the cheaper imports but the just seem so cheap. my ABI has lasted for about 8 months and i love it.
